Osage Nation Has Delivered Nearly $500,000 to Local Organizations
Lake of the Ozarks – The Osage Nation delivered $95,000 in its sixth round of charitable giving to the Lake of the Ozarks community, bringing its total charitable contributions to the area to $491,056.14.
“This latest round of donations reflects the values of the Osage Nation. We are committed to supporting veterans, protecting our land, investing in education for our youth, and ensuring the safety of our community by supporting law enforcement. We deeply appreciate the enthusiasm and support we have received from the Lake of the Ozarks community as we continue our efforts to return to our ancestral lands and work in partnership to strengthen this special place,” said Geoffrey Standing Bear, Osage Nation Chief.
“The Osage Nation has deep roots in the Lake of the Ozarks. We are committed to being good community partners and supporting local governmental entities and organizations who make this community a great place to call home,” said Kimberly Pearson, CEO of Osage Casinos.
This is the sixth round of charitable donations from the Osage Nation. Organizations receiving support during this round include:
- Camden County Sheriff’s Office – $10,000
- Lake Area Helping Hands – $5,000
- Lake Ozark Fire Protection District – $20,000
- Lake Ozark Police Department – $20,000
- Lake Ozark Shriners – $5,000
- Lake Ozark VFW – $5,000
- Miller County Sheriff’s Office – $10,000
- Osage Beach Fire Protection District – $10,000
- School of the Osage Foundation – $10,000
To date, the Osage Nation has made $491,056.14 in charitable donations.
