“I believe the casino is an area draw so people from outside of Bartlesville are coming here to play, but while here they stop for gas, eat somewhere, possibly shop while here all contributing to our sales tax base. The casino also provides jobs for many in our county, which all plays back into our economy. Keeping people employed with a livable wage and benefits is so important to the health of a community. I also know the Nation supports regional economic development-type projects and partners with cities and counties on things and that is obviously BIG. I don’t have exact details on this but I know the Nation plays a role in lots of development. “
